A fresh identity.A more transparent renovation experience.
DACCAPO is a turnkey renovation company. We named it, wrote its payoff, designed its identity, and then turned its promise of transparency into a private client portal where proposals, consultations and work reports live in one place.
1name and payoff created from scratch: “Un nuovo inizio Ristrutturato”

The challenge
Making renovation feel more reassuring.
Renovating a home means big decisions, many trades to coordinate, time and money. For anyone trusting a company with it, clarity and transparency are the experience.
DACCAPO needed an identity that felt professional and careful without being distant. Then a second need emerged: a digital place that walks each client through the phases of the project, with documents and updates in one private space.
Approach
A new beginning, built on trust.
An identity built around transparency, and a digital tool that makes it concrete.
01A memorable brandA name people remember and repeat.
02Trust and transparencyValues the client can see, not just read.
03Simpler communicationFewer scattered messages, one place to look.
04A scalable experienceA portal that grows with every project.
What we did
One project, step by step
Brand01
Naming and strategy
The meaning of starting again.
1.1A name about beginnings
A renovation is not just building work: it is a new chance for a space that already exists. DACCAPO, “from the top”, carries the idea of starting again, rethinking and giving value to what is there.
1.2The payoff
After several positioning directions: “Un nuovo inizio Ristrutturato”. The evocative name, plus an immediate link to what the company does.
Brand02
Logo exploration
Three directions: Puppets, Minimal and Block. Block was chosen.
2.1Block, the chosen direction
A typographic, modular direction: a heavy condensed wordmark stacked in two lines, opened by the dot of a new start, with versions for light, orange and dark grounds.
2.2Tested on real surfaces
Workwear, stickers on documents, business cards: before refining it, we checked the direction where a renovation brand actually lives.
Brand03
Final identity
Built with character. Designed for consistency.
3.1The hammer joins the wordmark
Refining Block, the dot became a hammer in a circle, and the wordmark got stronger. The extended logo sets DACCAPO in one line with the payoff underneath, in outline and badge versions.
3.2Compact and icon
A stacked compact logo for tight spaces, and an icon where the hammer sits in a roundel with name and payoff running round it, for avatars, patches and the portal.
3.3Four colours with a reason
Orange for energy and renewal, the heart of a new beginning. Charcoal for solidity. Deep blue for trust and technical skill. Light grey for order and clarity.

3.4Two typefaces
Built Titling SemiBold for the name, condensed and solid like a building block. Degular Regular for the payoff, softer and readable.
3.5An identity that moves
Logo animations, social avatars and a pattern of icons: the system works the same on a patch, a profile picture and a screen. The film is at the top of the page.
Development04
Under the hood
A bespoke experience powered by a flexible CMS.
4.1The proposal template
Every proposal opens like a cover: project title, date, client, the DACCAPO contact and a proposal code, next to a hero image. A sticky index then walks the client through goals and initial analysis, types of work and next steps.
4.2Digital renovation reports
One report gathers what usually travels through scattered messages, photos and files: project status, progress, phases, photo and video updates, work done and next steps.
4.3The stack
Figma for the interfaces, Webflow for the front end, Udesly to convert it into a WordPress theme. WordPress and ACF run content and users, with custom post types for proposals, consultations and reports, each assigned to its client.
4.4Keeping clients informed
When a document is published or updated, the client gets an email in the DACCAPO style, with the content and the project contact, and a link back to the portal.

A clearer way to follow every project. One private space for proposals, consultations and reports.
Transparency is a core value of the brand, so we turned it into a service. With a personal account, each client sees the documents of their own project and follows the renovation phase by phase.
Behind it, the team works in its own workspace: a guided dashboard with the workflow, shortcuts and video tutorials, so creating a proposal or a report never needs a manual.
